Biography
Danielle Telsa Forte lives as her name suggest, a rhythmic and melodic flow that is loud and strong and judged by God. She is a 37 year old believer in Christ, who attends Youth Empowered & Alive Ministries, where young people move from mere existence to purpose.
Danielle is not only educationally sound with degrees in Accounting and Dance as well as a Masters in Education but is also a talented Barbadian who loves the Performing Arts and Education. A shy girl growing up, she blossomed into dance at a local college through the Christian Fellowship and began singing around that time as well in 1998, even obtaining an award Most Promising Choreographer at NIIFCA for a piece entitled, “Who’s Driving” in 2006.
These academic opportunities have allowed her to develop dance among the nation’s youth in local primary and secondary schools as well as the National Cultural Foundation’s National Dance Programme, where she is currently the Senior Tutor and a dance adjudicator for the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts.
She has been a worship, dance and choreographic coordinator for various assemblies and have been a member of the NIFCA and Flame Award winning group Jesus Army Productions and worship group New Dawn (Newly Empowered Worshippers Divinely Appointed to Win Nations), both birthed from the University of the West Indies Christian Fellowship.
She hopes to produce and record either a jazz or ambient CD int he near future. Writing lyrical poems lead to healing songs that people can relate to and that dance furthers the expression of freedom in Christ. She firmly believes that
“All things are possible through Christ, if we give Him a chance”
